PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Corene L. Morrison, 88, of Perryville died Wednesday, July 30, 2003, at Perry County Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 7, 1914, at Kelso, Mo., daughter of Solomon and Sophia Blattel Heisserer. She and LeRoy Francis Morrison were married April 28, 1938. He died Jan. 6, 1997...

A funeral will be held Friday, August 1st, 2003 for 88-year-old Corene L. Morrison of Perryville who died Wednesday, July 30th at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born September 7th, 1914 in Kelso, the daughter of Solomon and Sophia (Blatell) Heisserer who both preceded her in death.
She married LeRoy Francis Morrison on April 28th, 1938. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: four sisters and three brothers in law, Olivia Ostendorf of Cape Girardeau, Maria and John Ostendorf of Cape Girardeau, Edna and Albert Job of Cape Girardeau and Melva Jane and Louis Kalkbrenner of Beaumont, Texas; Paul Hoeckele Jr. and Pat Wingerter and many other nieces and nephews.
Four sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death.
She was retired from the International Shoe Company and worked at Hoeckele's Bakery.
She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4282 Auxiliary.
Visitation will be 7-11 a.m. Friday, August 1st at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 88-year-old Corene L. Morrison of Perryville, will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz, CM, will officiate.
Memorials are preferred to the St. Vincent Endowment Fund.
