Morrison, Glen C.
Glen C. Morrison, 49, of Gordonville died Saturday, March 10, 2007, at his home.
He was born July 28, 1957, in Uniontown, Mo., son of Chalmer and Flora Meinz Morrison. He and Tammy Weinkein were married April 20, 1979. She survives.
Morrison was a 1975 graduate of Perryville High School. He worked for Weithop Truck Sales in Cape Girardeau for many years, most recently as service manager. Morrison was the owner of T&G Trucking in Gordonville. He was formerly a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson and was most recently a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau. Morrison was a member of Bishop Timon Knights of Columbus in Jackson and the Cape Girardeau Elks Lodge. He was also a former Boy Scout leader.
Survivors include a son, Tyler Morrison of Gordonville; a daughter, Stephanie Morrison of Gordonville; a brother, Alvin Morrison of Altenburg, Mo.; a sister, Mary Ratty of Fort Wayne, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson. A parish prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday followed by an Elks service.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
