Moyers, Winfred Junior
GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Winfred Junior Moyers, 79, of Glenallen died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at his home.
He was born Jan. 23, 1926, at Hiram, Mo., son of K.W. and Dorothy Drum Moyers. He and Eunice Nixon were married Oct. 23, 1955. She died Nov. 28, 2004.
Moyers was a plant manager at West Lake Quarry, and member of Turkey Creek General Baptist Church.
He served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1950 to 1956.
Survivors include two brothers, Harold Moyers of Hiram, Mo., Clyde Moyers of Bells, Tenn.; two sisters, Pearl Durham of Marble Hill, Mo., and Betty Minson of Glenallen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Loyd Ray Green and Gerald Huff officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Chapel of Memories Pavilion at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
