A funeral will be held Friday, May 23rd, 2008 for 97-year-old Artie O. Myers of Perryville, who died Friday, May 16th, 2008 at Perry Oaks Manor.
She was born April 24th, 1911, the son of Judea and Ada (Boyles) Myers. They preceded him in death.
She is survived by four brothers and sisters in law, Carl and Jean Myers of St. Louis, Charles and Elaine Myers of Colorado Springs, CO, Ray and Marie Myers of Perryville, Rev. Wayne and Jerry Myers of Merritt Island, FL; three sisters, Ruth Myers and Veda Scott, both of Perryville, Wanda Bollinger of Ste. Genevieve; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clark and Edward Myers; three sisters, Edna Armbruster, Pauline Hoehn and Melba Stroup.
She was retired after lifelong employment at International Shoe, and was a member of American Legion Post 133 Auxiliary.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday, May 23rd at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.
A funeral for 97-year-old Artie O. Myers of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 23rd, 2008 at the Young and Sons Chapel. The Rev. Christopher Cole will officiate.
