Myers, Connie (nee Hennecke)
MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Connie Myers, 65, of Marble Hill passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013, at her home.
She was born May 25, 1947, to Walter and Hazel Eakins Hennecke. She and Lonnie Myers were married Nov. 26, 1966.
Connie was confirmed May 21, 1961, at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School May 21, 1965. She was a bus driver for Woodland School District until she retired.
Survivors include her husband, Lonnie; a son, Tim Myers of Marble Hill; a daughter, Tracee (Michael) Houston of Marble Hill; a brother, William (Gail) Hennecke of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Frances (Horace) Hitt of Dutchtown, Donna (Don) Voorhes of Fruitland; and a grandson, Zachary Myers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Walter Lee, Charles and Bobby Hennecke; and a sister, Anna Marie Brucker.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Virgil Kelm and Dr. John Englehart officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
