Nagel, Nada H. (nee Smith)
Nada H. Nagel, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, Missouri.
She was born Sunday, Feb. 24, 1918, in Shawneetown, Missouri, to Everette and Nora Weisbrod Smith.
She and Wesley Nagel were married Nov. 16, 1935, at Cape Girardeau. Wesley passed away Dec. 16, 1990.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Nada loved gardening and had a great passion for flowers.
She is survived by a daughter, Janet Nagel of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Lloyd Biri and Lester Biri; and sisters, Audrey Cummins, Lorene Bragg, Thelma Biri and Wilma Myers.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Douglas Breite officiating.
Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
