Nall, Micheal Stanley

Micheal S. Nall, age 47, of Millersville passed away Thursday, March 6, 2008, at his home after a battle with cancer.

He was born Dec. 14, 1960, in Cape Girardeau, son of James C. Nall and Sibyl Ward Nanney. He and Rhonda Hopkins were married May 8, 1981. She survives.

Mike graduated from Woodland High School in 1979. He worked at the former La Pierre Sawyer Handle Factory in Jackson, Jackson Bowling Lanes and for 24 years had worked for the City of Jackson, retiring in 2007 due to illness. He was in the process of joining the United Methodist Church in Millersville.

Mike was a fun-loving guy. He liked to joke and have fun, play cards and bingo, and fish. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed serving the community while he worked at the Recycling Center in Jackson.

Loving survivors include his wife; a daughter, Robyn Nall of Columbia, Mo.; his mother, Sibyl Nanney of Marble Hill, Mo.; three brothers, Mark (Kim) Nall of Cleveland, Donnie (Kathy) Nanney of Leopold, Mo., and Mitchell (Gail) Nanney of Marble Hill; two sisters, Faith (Kent) Bailey of Advance, Mo., and Caryn (James) Rainey of Marble Hill; his mother-in-law, Ilinda Hopkins of Millersville; and sister-in-law, Vicki (Rodger) Amelunke of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Nanney; his father; his dad, Melvin Nanney; and father-in-law, Lynn Hopkins.

Friends may call between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. today, March 8, 2008, at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Craig Petzoldt officiating.

Interment will follow in Cook Cemetery near Scopus, Mo.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Millersville United Methodist Church or Southeast Hospice.
