MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Alfred Edwin Nanney, 79, of Marble Hill died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lloyd Ray Green officiating. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery near Scopus, Missouri, with full military honors...

Alfred Edwin Nanney, age 79, of Marble Hill, MO; passed away on October 15, 2014 at the Saint Francis Hospital.
He was born December 27, 1934 in Marble Hill, MO; son of William and Alice Nation Nanney.
Mr. Nanney worked in timber and was of the General Baptist Faith. He served his country proudly in the United States Army.
Survivors include brothers, Bobby Nanney of Marble Hill; Cecil Nanney of Advance; sisters, Thelma Nanney of Marble Hill and Louise Smith of Imperial, MO.
He was preceded in death by his parents, lifelong partner Hazel Deloris McClanahan, brothers; Melvin, Lester, Vester, John, Lee and an infant, sisters, Ethel Shriner, Velma Cook, Stella Carmen and Nancy Dockins.
Visitation will be Friday, October 17, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Ray Green officiating, burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery near Scopus, MO with Full Military Honors.
