Nesslein, Cleta Frances (nee Huber)

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Cleta F. Nesslein, 95, of Perryville died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2013, at Perry Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born June 16, 1918, in Perry County to Theodore and Theresa Brown Huber. She and Cletus S. Nesslein were married Nov. 19, 1953, in Perryville. He preceded her in death April 15, 2007.

Cleta was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Nesslein of Perryville and Dr. Gary Nesslein of Prairie Village, Kan.; two daughters, Darla Kennon of Jackson and Brenda Harold of Walla Walla, Wash.; a brother, Leroy Huber of Perryville; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a sister.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish prayers are at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral Mass is at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Steve Gallegos officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Endowment Fund.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2013 for 95-year-old Cleta F. Nesslein of Perryville who died Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Perry Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Perryville.

She was born June 16, 1918 in Perry County the daughter of Theodore Huber and Theresa Brown Huber, who both preceded her in death.

She married Cletus S. Nesslein on November 19, 1953 in Perryville. He preceded her in death on April 15, 2007

She is also survived by two sons: Kenneth Nesslein of Perryville and Dr. Gary Nesslein of Prairie Village, Kansas; two daughters: Darla Kennon of Jackson and Brenda Harold of Walla Walla, Washington; a brother: Leroy Huber of Perryville; 8 grandchildren , four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by a sister.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Ladies Sodality.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 19 and 6:30-9:50 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be said at 7 p.m. Tuesday and the rosary will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
