Newell, Lorene Elsie Brown (nee Triller)
Lorene Elsie Newell, 82, of Jackson died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 1, 1932, in Oak Ridge, Missouri, to John and Rosa Weisbrod Triller.
She was married to James "Bobby" Brown in December 1952. He died Nov. 25, 1965. She then married William Lynn Newell. He died Oct. 30, 2000.
Lorene is survived by five sons, Ken (Kim) Brown of Jackson, Kerry Brown of Cape Girardeau, Jeff (Renee) Brown of Blytheville, Arkansas, Kevin (Lyla) Brown and Bill (Debbie) Newell, both of Oak Ridge; four daughters, Karen (Ralph) Green of Cape Girardeau, Kaye (Mike) Weston of Sedgewickville, Karla (Dan) Huffman and Kristie Hutson, both of Jackson; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Ruth Ann; and one daughter, Kathy Wills.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at noon today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
