Newman, Nada Ann (nee Garner)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Nada Ann Newman, 81, of Perryville, formerly of Frohna, Mo., died Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Independence Care Center of Perry County. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Saturday at Gieseking Funeral Home, 208 N. Second St., Altamont, Ill.

A funeral will be held Saturday, July 13, 2013 for 81-year-old Nada Ann Newman, formerly of Frohna who died July 9, 2013 at Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville.
She was born September 11, 1931 in Shelby Co., Illinois, the daughter of Orville V. and Oma E. (Edwards) Garner who both preceded her in death.
She married George V. Newman Sr. on April 17, 1949. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1997.
She is survived by a daughter: Nelda (Bill) Koeberl of Frohna; a son: Thomas (Sandi) Newman of Altamont, Illinois; two sisters: Sheila Renner of Stewardson, Illinois and LuLu Love of Bloomington, Illinois; and two granddaughters: Azure and Damielle Newman.
She was also preceded in death by a son: George Newman Jr.; and a brother: Glenn.
Nada worked for Norge Appliances.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 13 at the Gieseking Funeral Home, 208 N. Second St., Altamont, Illinois.
A funeral for 81-year-old Nada Ann Newman, formerly of Frohna will be held at 1 p.m. at the Gieseking Funeral Home, 208 N. Second St., Altamont, Illinois. The Rev. Roger Marshall will officiate. Burial will be in the Newman Cemetery in Altamont, Illinois.
