Niblack, Ethel (nee Calvin)

The funeral of Mrs. W.G. (William Greer) Niblack was held this afternoon at McKendree Methodist Church, the Rev. John L. Glassey of Jackson and Rev. J.C. Montgomery of Poplar Bluff, officiating. There was a prayer service at McCombs Funeral Home and the body was removed to the church at 2.

Mrs. Niblack, 74 years old, died suddenly Monday night at a Cape Girardeau hospital, following surgery. She was born at Sikeston, Sept. 11, 1885. She was formerly Miss Ethel Calvin, a daughter of W.(William) O. and Dora Peerman Calvin.

She was a life-long member of the Methodist Church, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Eastside Homemakers Club.

She is survived by one son, the Rev. Marvin Niblack of St.Louis; two daughters, Miss Helen Niblack of St. Louis and Mrs. Ruby (L.R.) Stevenson of Bowling Green, Ky. and four grandchildren.
