Norfolk, Vernon Lee, Sr.
Vernon Lee Norfolk Sr., 65, of Old Appleton died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. The funeral will be at a later date. Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.

Vernon Lee Norfolk, Sr., 64, of Old Appleton, died November 6, 2013 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was born June 25, 1949 in Hannibal, MO, son of Elmer and Dorothy Virginia (Kelly) Norfolk. Vernon was a Commercial Fisherman. He loved westerns, hunting, fishing, trapping, telling stories and fish fries. He is survived by two sons; Vernon L. Norfolk, Jr. of Millersville and Thomas W. Norfolk of Scott City, one brother and one sister; Darrell R. Norfolk of Bowling Green, Mo and Virginia Nehring of Beaver Creek, OH and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter; Robin C. Norfolk Muench and one brother; Roger Kelly Norfolk. Service at a later date. Young & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Perryville, MO provided the arrangements.
