Rosalee "Cattoor" Oberndorfer, 90, of Perryville died March 9, 2015 at Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville, MO.
She was born May 15, 1924 in Perryville, MO, daughter of Joseph and Edna (Elder) Pecaut. She and Vernon E. Oberndorfer were married on July 31, 1965. He preceded her in death on December 21, 1982.
Rosalee had worked at International Shoe factory. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters; Judith (Wayne) Zoellner of Festus and Carol (Roger) Brown of St. Mary, four grandchildren; Jeff (Ann) Zoellner, Kevin (Karen) Zoellner, Tina (Tim) Thieret and Jennifer (Tim) Renner, ten great grandchildren; Andrew and Alex Thieret, Ashley (Grant) Pingel, Joe, Jack, Abbey, Andrew and Ryan Zoellner, Cole and Shelby Renner. She is survived by many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers; Joseph and Harold Pecaut, one sister; Mary Jane Wibbenmeyer, one grandson; Bryan Zoellner and two infant brothers.
Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Friday, March 13 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm with a Catholic Wake at 6:30 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 6:30 – 9:30 am. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Saturday at 10:00 am with Rev. Rich Wehrmeyer officiating. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry in Perryville or First United Methodist Food Pantry in Festus.
