Oswald, Mark
Mark Oswald, 45, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, June 14, 2014, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Oct. 13, 1968, in Perryville, Missouri, son of Arnie and Sharon Esselman Oswald of Perryville. He and Christie Sutterer were married Jan. 1, 1994. She survives in Cape Girardeau.
Mr. Oswald was a Missouri correctional officer. He is a disabled United States Army veteran.
He is survived by his parents; two sons and one daughter, Tyler, Joshua and Katelin Oswald, all of Cape Girardeau; one sister and one brother, Dana Schmelzle of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri, and Jeff Oswald of Chester, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with military rites provided by American Legion Post 133 and Missouri Delta Team.
Memorials are preferred for family use or the American Diabetes Association.
