Otte, Carl R.
A funeral will be held Saturday, January 10th, 2009 for 57-year-old Carl R. Otte of St. Mary who died Wednesday, January 7th at his residence.
He was born July 8th, 1951 in Perryville, the son of Glen Otte of St. Mary and Sylvia (Mowry) Otte of St. Mary.
He married Louise Brewster on July 25th, 1970. She survives in St. Mary.
He is also survived by two daughters and sons in law: Dana and Chad Cockriel of Charleston, South Carolina and Kara and Robert Hayden of Perryville; four brothers and two sisters in law: Larry Otte of Lincoln, Illinois, David Otte of St. Mary, Brian and Charlotte Otte of Bloomsdale and Mark and Vickie Otte of Perryville; a sister and brother in law: Gail and Steve Hotop of Perryville; and two grandchildren: Gavin Hayden and Olivia Cockriel.
He was a former chief of the St. Mary Fire Department and member of the Trinity Baptist Church in St. Mary.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, January 9th at the Basler Funeral Home, St. Mary.
A funeral for 57-year-old Carl R. Otte of St. Mary will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 10th at the Trinity Baptist Church in St. Mary. The Rev. Irvin Brooks will officiate.
Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery in St. Mary.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
