Pannier, Mildred J. "Millie" (nee Moonier)
A funeral will be held Wednesday, January 25th, 2006 for 83-year-old Mildred "Millie" J. Pannier of Perryville, who died Sunday, January 22nd at her residence.
She was born January 3rd, 1923 in Malden, the daughter of Leo J. and Bertha M. (Pitts) Moonier who both preceded her in death.
She married Vincent "Vince" Edgar Pannier on August 24th, 1944. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters in law, Richard and Linda Pannier of Perryville, Leroy Pannier of Kokomo, Indiana and Bill and Chire Pannier of Perryville; three daughters and two sons in law, Patricia and Eric Reed of Perryville, Betty Pannier of Perryville and JoAnn and Jerry Kiem of Cutler, Illinois; two brothers and sisters in law, Joe and Ginny Moonier of Godfrey, Illinois and Jim and JoAnn Moonier of Perryville; three sisters and one brother in law, Clara Mitchell of Perryville, Frances "Tootie" Church of Perryville and Mary "Bootie" and Ray Cottner of Red Bud, Illinois; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Harold Leathers; a brother, Vernon Moonier; and a granddaughter, Jenny Buchheit.
She was a homemaker and member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, January 24th and 6:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 25th at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. A Catholic Wake will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
A funeral mass for 83-year-old Mildred "Millie" J. Pannier of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 25th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz, CM, will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
