Paulus, Oliver A. "Obie"
Funeral service will be held Thurday, July 6, 2000 for 62-year-old Oliver A. (Obie) Paulus who died July 1, 2000 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born on Oct. 29, 1937 in Perryville, the son of the late Leo Paulus and Mildred Claussen Paulus, who survives in Perryville.
The following children survive: Craig Paulus of St. Louis; Mark Paulus of El Paso, Texas; Mike Paulus of St. Louis; Scott Paulus of Perryville; and Karen Wind of Chesterfield.
The following brothers and sisters survive: Bernard, Kenneth, Russell and Mick Paulus, all of Perryville; Roger Paulus of Arnold; Harold and Bob Paulus, both of Columbia, James Paulus of St. Louis; Pauline Tucker of Perryville; Mary Dyer of Conway, Ark.; and Elita Cattoor of St. Louis.
One sister, Eileen Paulus, preceded him in death.
Mr. Paulus was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in St. Louis. He was a 3rd degree Knight of Columbus.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 5, 2000 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish wake serve at 7 p.m. Visitation will also be from 6:30-9:50 a.m. on Thursday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2000 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Rev. Kevin P. Fausz C.M. will officiate. Burial in St. Boniface Cemetery in Perryville.
