PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Clarence T. Pecaut Jr., 77, of Perryville died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003, at St. Luke's West in Chesterfield, Mo. He was born Nov. 8, 1926, in Perryville, son of Clarence Thomas and Olivia Marie Charvaux Pecaut Sr. He and Valeria Leible were married April 12, 1947...

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 6th, 2003 for 77-year-old Clarence T. "Junior" Pecaut, Jr. of Perryville, who died Wednesday, December 3rd at St. Luke's West in Chesterfield, MO.

He was born November 8th, 1926 in Perryville, the son of Clarence T. and Olivia M. (Charvaux) Pecaut, Sr., who both preceded him in death.

He married Valeria Leible of Perryville in 1947. She survives in Perryville.

Survivors include: one daughter and son in law, Sharon and Bob Heien of Florissant; one son, Mike Pecaut of Dallas, TX; two sisters and one brother in law, Stella Fasshold, Velda and Linus 'Buddy' Winkler, all of Perryville; one brother and sister in law, Donald E. and Norma Pecaut, also of Perryville, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A son, a brother, a step-brother, and two sisters preceded him in death.

He was a retired assembly line worker at International Shoe Factory and a US Army veteran of World War Two.

He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, American Legion Post 133, and Veterans Of Foreign Wars Post 4282.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, December 5th, from 4 to 9 pm and on Saturday from 6:30 to 9:30 am at the Young and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Perryville. A Catholic Wake is scheduled for 7 pm Friday, with a V.F.W. wake scheduled at 7:15. The Rosary will be recited Saturday morning at 8:15.

Funeral mass for 77-year-old Clarence T. "Junior" Pecaut, Jr. of Perryville will be held at 10 am Saturday, December 6th at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with burial at Mount Hope Cemetery. Military graveside services will be provided by American Legion Post 133. The Reverend Kevin Fausz, C.M., will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School.
