PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Valeria M. Pecaut, 77, of Perryville died Friday, Nov. 5, 2004, at Christian Hospital NE in St. Louis. She was born Feb. 1, 1927, in Perry County, daughter of Vincent and Helen Sauer Leible Sr. She and Clarence T. Pecaut Jr. were married April 12, 1947. He died Dec. 3, 2003...

A funeral was held this morning, Monday, November 8th, 2004 for 77-year-old Valeria M. Pecaut of Perryville who died Friday at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born February 1, 1927 in Perry County, the daughter of Vincent and Helen (Sauer) Leible Sr. who both preceded her in death.
She married Clarence T. Pecaut on April 12th, 1947. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include: a son and daughter in law, Mike and Kathy Pecaut of Dallas, Texas; a daughter and son in law, Sharon and Bob Heien of Florissant; two brothers and sisters in law, Vincent and Shirley Leible and Lucius and Earline Leible, all of Perryville; a sister, Alma Moll of Perryville; four grandchildren, Alan and Doug Courtois and Nikki and Katie Pecaut; and two great grandchildren, Samantha and Elise Courtois.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Richard; a brother, Cletus and a sister, Cordula.
She was a past manager of the Dollar General Store in Perryville and a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville and the Ruby Red Angels in Florissant.
A funeral for 77-year-old Valeria M. Pecaut of Perryville was held this morning, Monday, November 8th, 2004 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial was in the Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz, C.M., officiated.
Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School System.
