Peirick, Irene N. (nee Mueller)

LONGTOWN, Mo. -- Irene N. Peirick, 96, of Longtown died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2015, at Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Missouri.

She was born Feb. 12, 1919, in Longtown, daughter of Rudolph E. and Emma Martha Kassel Mueller. She and Frank F. Peirick were married June 29, 1946. He preceded her in death April 19, 2003.

Irene was a former nurse's aide. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown.

Survivors include a son, Lynn (Cathy) Peirick of Perryville; two daughters, Carmen Peirick (Michael Daft) of St. Louis and Renee (Danny) Crader of Oak Ridge; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and three sisters.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Monday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Zion Lutheran Church Tuition Fund.

Irene had worked as a nurse’s aide. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown, MO.

Survivors include one son and two daughters, Lynn (Cathy) Peirick of Perryville, Carmen

Peirick (Michael Daft) of St. Louis, MO, Renee (Danny) Crader of Oak Ridge, MO; three

grandchildren, Joel, Jeffrey, and John (Mandy) Peirick; and five great-grandchildren, Caleb,

Joshua, Maria, Noah, and Luke Peirick.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Hilpert (Lenore) Mueller, Palmer (Marian) Mueller; and three sisters, Hilda (Edwin) Rauh, Veronica (George) Schubarth, and Evelyn (Norbert) Vogel.

Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, February 15 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and on Monday, February 16 from 6:30 to 8:30 am. She will then be taken to Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown for service at 10:00 am with Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial in church cemetery.
