ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Harry Petzoldt of Altenburg died Dec. 3, 2011, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 to 8:15 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg. A funeral will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2011 for 85-year-old Harry Petzoldt of Altenburg who died December 3, 2011 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 4, 1926 at Altenburg, the son of Oscar & Concordia (Lohmann) Petzoldt.
He married Elda Brunkhorst on October14, 1956. She survives in Perryville.
He is also survived by a sister: Arline Koenig of Perryville; a brother and sister in law: Lewis and (Louise) Petzoldt of Altenburg.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Leo and a sister: Dorothy Winter.
He was a Member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg.
He was farmer in agriculture and livestock and was a U.S. Army WWII veteran.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday, December 5 and 6:30-8:15 a.m. Tuesday, December 6 at the Young & Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg.
A funeral for 85-year-old Harry Petzoldt of Altenburg will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 6th, 2011 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg. The Rev. Steven Dressler will officiate. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery
