ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Louise L. Petzoldt, 72, of Altenburg died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg, with the Rev. Steven Dressler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

A funeral will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 for 72-year-old Louise L. Petzoldt of Altenburg who died October 31, 2012 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born January 24, 1940 in Wittenberg, the daughter of Eldor V. and Alma J. (Schattauer) Weber who both preceded her in death.

She married Lewis Petzoldt June 24, 1958. He survives in Frohna.

She is also survived by seven children: Earl (Diane) Petzoldt of Frohna, Earlene (Daryl) Preusser of Altenburg, Donna (Steve) Hadler of Frohna, Dan (Darlene) Petzoldt of Altenburg, Mark (Judy) Petzoldt of Marshall, Diane (Brent) Petzoldt of Jackson and Ken (Natalie) Petzoldt of St. Louis; a son-in-law: David Verseman of Chester, Illinois; a brother: Clinton (Linda) Weber of Wittenberg; two sisters: Irene (Gene) Sowell of Arnold and Ruth (Edward) Pohlman of Perryville; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Verlene Verseman; and a son: Kevin Petzoldt.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 and 6:30-8:30 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Young & Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg.

A funeral for 72-year-old Louise L. Petzoldt of Frohna will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 3, 2012 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Altenburg. The Rev. Steven Dressler will officiate.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.
