PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Raymond E. Phillips, 70, of Perryville died Monday, Sept. 9, 2013, at his home. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 6:30 a.m. until time of service Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. A funeral will be held Friday, September 13, 2013 for 70-year-old Raymond E. Phillips of Perryville who died September 9, 2013 at his residence in Perryville.
He was born December 29, 1942 in Menfro, the son of the Joseph L. and Lucille M. (Bohnert) Phillip who both preceded him in death.
He married Donna M. Bock on November 15, 1965. She survives in Perryville.
He is also survived by two sons and a daughter: Richard (Valerie) Phillips, Dennis Phillips and Denise Phillips all of Perryville; a sister: Marie Striler of Inverness, Florida; six grandchildren: Rebecca, Alyssa, Austin and Devon Phillips, Brent Englehart and Rachel Pruneau; and two great grandchildren: Aubrey Pruneau and Dallis Michler.
He was also preceded in death by a brother: Joseph Phillips.
He was a kiln fireman at Mississippi Lime Company for 36 years.
He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and United Steel Workers of America Local No. 169.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2013 and 6:30-10 a.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 70-year-old Raymond E. Phillips of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
