Phipps, Sandra Arlene (nee Crissey)
Funeral services for Sandra Arlene (Crissey) Phipps, 56, of Painesville,
will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.
Mrs. Phipps passed away Nov. 2, 2009, at her home.
Sandra was born Jan. 1, 1953. in Shade Township in Pennsylvania.
Mrs. Phipps worked for Worthington Precision Metals as an inspector for 30 years.
She enjoyed golfing, gardening, and scooter riding. She loved to decorate homes.
Survivors are her husband of 37 years, Dave Phipps; brothers, Roger (Norma) Crissey and
Robert (Judy) Crissey; sisters, Evelyn (Jim) Barnes, Judy (Steve) Kangas and Erma
Swartzwelder; sister-in-law, Debbie Crissey; numerous nieces and nephews; and her dear
friend, Henrietta Brown; and her dogs, Logan and Shilo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester C. and Effie (Manges) Crissey; sister,
Shirley Jones; and brothers, Richard, Kenneth, and Russell Crissey,
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lake County Humane Society.
