Picou, Drucille L. (nee Hinton)
Drucille L. Picou, 94, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born on Aug. 12, 1910, in Allenville, Mo., daughter of Harry H. and Carrie Kinder Hinton.
She and Louis I. Picou were married Oct. 14, 1941, in Cape Girardeau. He died Oct. 23, 2003.
Picou was a member of the First Baptist Church, St. Mark's Chapter 167 O.E.S., Calvary Shrine No. 8, Cape Court No. 14 Order of Amaranth, Royal Neighbors and VFW Post 33838 Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Robert G. Johnson of Shawnee, Kan., and two sisters, Maxine Reed of Scott City and Ruth Conrad of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers and five sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a White Shrine service at 7 p.m.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jay White officiating.
Entombment will be at Memorial Park Mausoleum in Cape Girardeau.
