ALTENBURG, Mo. -- Tawnya G. Pingel, 54, of Altenburg died Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, in Jefferson City, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville, Missouri. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Freiesz officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Crosstown, Missouri..

Tawnya G. Pingel, 54, of Altenburg died February 15, 2015 at Jefferson City, MO

She was born February 1, 1961 in Perryville, daughter of Eldon Edgar and Jodean (Roberts) Pingel.

Tawnya had been a certified nurse’s aide. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

Other survivors include two daughters, Maria (John) Stephens of Scott City, MO, Manda (Leonard) Gadberry of Altenburg; one son, Michael (Amanda) Fuller of Perryville; and brothers, Cletus Pingel of Fredericktown, Clinton Pingel of St. Charles, John (Nicki) Garavaglia of O’Fallon, MO, Darrin Pingel of Cedar Rapids, IA ; one sister, Tracey (Craig) Hanquist of Perryville; eight grandchildren and special friend, Robert Foster of Altenburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Matthew Fuller; and one sister, Tina Luckey.

Visitation will be held at Young & Sons Funeral Home on Saturday, February 21 from 10:00 am until time of service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Michael Friesz officiating.

Burial in Bethlehem Baptist Cemetery in Crosstown, MO.

Memorials are preferred for family to help with funeral expense.
