PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Barry L. "Joey" Poff, 35, of Florissant, Mo., died Sunday, Aug. 26, 2012, in Perryville.

He was born Sept. 24, 1976, in St. Louis, son of Barry Len Poff of Perryville, Sherry Kiefer Mullins and stepfather Jerry Mullins of St. Charles, Mo. He and Robetta Ward were married Aug. 4, 2007.

Survivors include his wife; a son and a daughter, Cody Ward Poff and Cheyenne Ward Poff of Florissant; a stepson, Eric Ward of St. Peters, Mo.; two brothers, James Robert Lee Poff and Andrew Christopher Poff of Perryville. He was a loving son-in-law, and is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Russell Chitwood officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred for family use.

A funeral will be held Wednesday, August 30, for 35-year-old Barry L. "Joey" Poff of Florissant who died August 26, 2012 in Perryville.

He was born September 24, 1976 in St. Louis, the son of Barry Len Poff of Perryville and Sherry (Kiefer) Mullins of St. Charles.

He married Robetta Ward on August 4, 2007. She survives in Florissant.

He is also survived by his stepfather: Jerry Mullins of St. Charles; a son and a daughter: Cody Ward Poff and Cheyenne Ward Poff both of Florissant and a stepson: Eric Ward of St. Peters; two brothers: James Robert Lee Poff and Andrew Christopher Poff, both of Perryville; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, August 28 and 6:30-11 a.m. Wednesday, August 29 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 35-year-old Barry L. "Joey" Poff of Florissant will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 30th at the Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev Russell Chitwood will officiate. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred for family use.
