PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Betty Feaman Prost, 90, of Perryville died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.

A memorial Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Charles Prost officiating.

Young and Sons Funeral Home provided the arrangements.

A funeral will be held Saturday, September 7, 2013 for 90-year-old Betty (Feaman) Prost of Perryville, who died August 26, 2013 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.

She was born on May 3, 1923 in Ellis Grove, Illinois, the daughter of Armin and Pearl (Hunt) Feaman.

She married Adrian "Fritz" Prost, Sr. on May 21, 1949. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1986.

She is survived by three daughters and a son: Elizabeth (John) Gualdoni and Deborah (Patrick) Schommer both of St. Louis and Jane (Andrew) Abele of Chesterfield and Adrian (Lily) Prost Jr. of Marietta, Georgia; a half-sister: Jean Ann Ziegler of St. Louis and nine grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by four half-sisters and one half-brother.

She had been a secretary at Perry County Savings & Loan, Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, Selective Service Board and the Perry County Assessor’s Office.

She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, president of Perryville Country Club Women’s Golf Association, Daughters of Isabella, Knight of Columbus Auxiliary Council 1263, Girl Scout Leader and she was an avid bridge player.

A memorial mass for 90-year-old Betty (Feaman) Prost of Perryville will be held on Saturday September 7th at 11 a.m. at the St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Charles Prost C.M. will officiate.

Memorials are preferred to St Vincent de Paul Schools
