Pulliam, Raymond Lee

Raymond Lee Pulliam, 46, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Sept. 8, 1963, in Cape Girardeau, son of Raymond C. and Jean McBay Pulliam. He and Patty Wallman were married Jan. 11, 1986.

Ray formerly attended Calvary Temple Pentecostal Church in Cape Girardeau. He worked at Dana Corp. 17 years and had worked for Nordenia USA since 2008. He affectionately restored Dodge muscle cars.

Loving survivors include his wife of 24 years; two sons, Ray Pulliam Jr. and Bradley Pulliam of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Staci Pulliam of Cape Girardeau; his mother, Jean Pulliam of Cape Girardeau; four sisters, Bonnie (Kenny) Keller of Scott City, Marlene Golden of Cape Girardeau, Jeanette (Harold) James of Zalma, Mo., Sally Welker of Cape Girardeau; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe McCullough officiating. Interment will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
