Ramsey, Benjamin H.
Marble Hill, May 17 - Benjamin H. Ramsey, 78 years old, died at 6 a.m. Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. J.B. Barks, near here. Born Nov. 28, 1870, in Cape County, he had resided the greatest part of his life in Bollinger County.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Baker Funeral Home to where the body will be taken from the family home a short time prior. Rev. Will Roberts and Rev. Charles Sitze, Baptist ministers, will conduct the rites and interment will be in Baker Cemetery.
Mr. Ramsey is survived by his wife, the former Emma Bailey; three sons, J.C. Ramsey, Willard Ramsey and Earl Ramsey, of St. Louis; two daughters, Mrs. Barks and Mrs. Eula Adams of Cape Girardeau; 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
