PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Mary Marguerite "Marge" Reiss, 91, of Perryville died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2014, at Independence Care Center of Perry County. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The wake will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. The rosary will be at 8:30 a.m. Friday..

Mary Marguerite "Marge" Reiss 91, of Perryville passed away September 7, 2014 at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born January 22, 1923, in Flat River, MO, daughter of Hayden R. and Nettie A. (Coffer) Womack. She was married to Elvis A. Reiss on November 25, 1948. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2007.
Mrs. Reiss had worked at International Shoe Factory. She was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer. She graduated from Fredericktown Public High School in 1939.
Survivors include one sister-in-law; Verneda Womack of Perryville, nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother; Derrell Womack.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 11 at Young & Sons Funeral Home from 4:00 – 7:00 pm with a Catholic Wake at 6:30 pm. Visitation will continue on Friday from 6:30 – 9:30 am with rosary at 8:30 am. Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the Savior Catholic Church on Friday at 10:00 am with Rev. Rich Wehrmeyer CM officiating. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials are preferred to St. Jude’s or St. Vincent de Paul Schools.
