Rhodes, Carol Jean (nee Welker)
MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Carol Jean Rhodes, 70, of Marble Hill passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, at her home.
She was born July 7, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Linus and Ruby Crader Welker. She and Winford Rhodes were united in marriage Dec. 22, 1962.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include husband Winford of Marble Hill; sons Kenneth Wayne Rhodes of Perryville, Missouri, and Robert Lee (Julie) Rhodes of Millersville; daughters Lisa Diane (Rick) Dvorak of Cross Junction, Virginia, and Michele Denise (Jeff) Thele of Marble Hill; sister Alice Darby of Hillsboro, Missouri; six grandchildren, Jessica (Ben) Coffelt, Nicholaus (Stephanie) Rhodes and Adam Rhodes of Perryville, Colby Thele of Marble Hill and Wyatt Rhodes and Matthew Rhodes of Millersville; and six great-grandchildren, Bradley, Brandon, Brett, Julia and Josie Coffelt and Carter Rhodes of Perryville.
She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant brother and a sister, Patricia Angel.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jack Farris officiating. Burial will be in the Crader Cemetery near Marble Hill.
