Rhodes, Louise (nee Peevey)
Louise Rhodes born December 1, 1931 in Douglas, AZ. Died in Tucson, May 11, 2013. Married to John Robert Rhodes for 65 years, they have been Tucson residents since 1952. Louise was active for decades at Broadway Christian Church, holding many diverse church offices. She was also active for many years in Church Women United and is a past President of the Tucson branch. She also volunteered for years for Meals on Wheels. She was known for her amazing ability as a seamstress. She and Robert loved to go RVing and spent many happy summers in the mountains. She is survived by husband, John Robert Rhodes; daughter, Kathy Rhodes Humphrey; sisters, Peggy Mayes, Pat Gartin and Faye Schoen; brother, Bob Peevey; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by daughters, Virginia Greenwalt and Nancy Fickas; parents, Joseph and Sarah Peevey and sister, Lucy Verbeck. A Memorial Service will be held, 3:00 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2013 at BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL, 6910 E. Broadway.
