Richmond, Beverly June (nee Lett)
Beverly June Richmond, 81, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, March 7, 2014 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 17, 1932, in Columbia, Mo., to the Rev. Beverly Earl and Viva Fern St. Clair Lett.
She and C.L. "Babe" Richmond, O.D., were married March 23, 1958, at Hernando, Miss.
She was a member of LaCroix United Methodist Church in Cape and one of its women's small groups. She is a graduate of Lindenwood University. Beverly taught art in several school districts in Missouri.
Survivors include her husband, C.L. "Babe" Richmond, O.D., of Cape Girardeau; sons, Tim (Lana) Richmond, Ron (Susan) Richmond and Chris Richmond, all of Cape Girardeau; and grandchildren Jordyn Richmond, Taylor Richmond, Katie Richmond, Luke Richmond, Madigan Richmond and Natalie Richmond.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Viva Sue Lett.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. Ron Watts officiating.
Burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to Feed My Starving Children or Rainforest Ministry at LaCroix United Methodist Church or to The Salvation Army.
