Riehn, Norman E.
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Norman E. Riehn, 82, of Perryville died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008, at Perry Oaks Manor in Perryville.
He was born on Aug. 18, 1925, in Cape Girardeau County, son of John L. and Nettie L. Hilderbrand Riehn.
He married Mabel F. Friese on May 10, 1947. She died Oct. 12, 2003.
He had been a self-employed auto mechanic.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Riehn of Alvaton, Ky., and Delbert Riehn of Perryville; two daughters, Patsy Brewer and Cathy Riehn, both of Perryville; two brothers, Marvin Riehn and Frank Riehn, both of Arnold, Mo.; two sisters, Violet Otto of Arnold and Alice Robinson of Farmington, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Mike Sutterer officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 30th, 2008 for 82-year-old Norman E. Riehn of Perryville, who died Sunday, January 27th, 2008 at Perry Oaks Manor.
He was born August 18th, 1925 in Cape Girardeau County, the son of John and Nettie (Hilderbrand) Riehn. They preceded him in death.
He married Mabel Friese May 10th, 1947. She preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Charles and Joyce Riehn of Alvaton, KY, Delbert and Michelle Riehn of Perryville; two daughters and a son in law, Patsy and Gerald Brewer and Cathy Riehn, all of Perryville; two brothers, Marvin and Frank Riehn, both of Arnold; two sisters, Violet Otto of Arnold, Alice Robinson of Farmington; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John Riehn, Jr; two sisters, Myrtle Unterreiner and Amy Prevallet.
He was a self-employed auto mechanic.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, January 29th, and from 6:30-11 a.m. Wednesday, January 30th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.
A funeral for 82-year-old Norman E. Riehn of Perryville will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 30th, 2008 at the Young and Sons Chapel. Mike Sutterer will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Home Cemetery.
