Riehn, Paul Hubert
Paul Hubert Riehn, age 94, of Millersville passed away Saturday, July 15, 2006, at his home.
He was born Aug. 16, 1911. in Millersville, son of Aaron Herman and Idalia Louise Martin Riehn. He and Hattie Mae Schuette were married Dec. 21, 1934. She passed away Sept. 12, 1994.
Hubert farmed all his life near Millersville and had worked as a farm reporter for the ASCS office in Jackson. He was a lifelong member of the Old Salem United Methodist Church near Millersville and had served as a former board member of the Jackson School District.
Loving survivors include two daughters, Mary Jo Hueter and husband Quentin of Millersville and Barbara Ellen Brotherton of Troy, Mo.; one son, Michael Kent Riehn and wife Martha of Millersville; two sisters, Lillie Wills of Oak Ridge and Leona Louise Kurre of Friedheim; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of sixty years, Hubert was preceded in death by a daughter, Patsy Ann Boyd Welker; a son, Gary Wayne Riehn; and a grandson, Stewart Wayne Boyd.
Friends may call Monday, July 16, between 4 and 8 p.m. at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Calvin Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Cape Girardeau County Memorial Park Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Old Salem Methodist Church Cemetery.
