Roberts, Artie (nee Barks)
OAK RIDGE - Mrs. Lynn Roberts, Oak Ridge Star Route, 68 years old, died at the family home early this morning.
Mrs. Roberts, the former Miss Artie Barks, was born June 5, 1903, at Daisy.
She was a life long member of the New Salem Methodist Church near Daisy, and its Women's Society of Christian Service organization. For 40 years, she was a member of the Daisy Homemakers Club, and was an active 4-H Club leader for about 15 years.
On Feb. 19, 1926, she was married to Mr. Roberts, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Royal Petzoldt, Oak Ridge Star Route; one son, Curtis Roberts, Oak Ridge Route 1; two sisters, Mrs. G.S. Hahs, Daisy, and Mrs. Elmer Zoellner, Oak Ridge, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 at the New Salem Methodist Church with burial in the New Salem Cemetery. The Rev. Lloyd Bollinger will officiate.
The body is the the Cracraft Miller Funeral Chapel in Jackson.
