Robinson, Clarence
A funeral service will be held Thursday, June 3, 1999 for 88 year - old Clarence Robinson, of Perryville, who died Monday.
Born on March 5, 1911 in Perry County the son of Andrew and Sophia (Schremp) Robinson. He married Cecilia Buff in September of 1930, and she preceded in death, in 1996.
He is survived by four daughters; Iva Jean Adams of Perryville, Christine White of Edwardsville, Patricia Stewart of St. Louis, and Guida Schmedinghoff of Rhode Island. Three sons survive; Glen Robinson of Farmington, and Arnold and Eric Robinson, both of Perryville. One brother survives; Lawrence Robinson of Perryville. He is also survived by 27 grand - children, 31 great - grand -children, and 5 great - great - grand - children.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, three brothers, one son, and two grand - children.
Mr. Robinson was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Parish and also the Holy Name Society.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 4 -9 pm, at the Miller Family Funeral Home, in Perryville. Visitation will also be on Thursday from 6:30 till 9:50 am. Parish prayers will be at 7pm on Wednesday, and the Rosary will be recited at 9am, at the Funeral Home. Funeral services for Clarence Robinson will be at 10 am Thursday morning, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Kevin Fausz C.M. will officiate, and burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
Memorials can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Parish, or to the American Cancer Society.
