PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Chloe Olivia Ross, 85, of Perryville died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014, at Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Chloe Olivia Ross, 85, of Perryville, loving wife of Hilden H. Ross, was called to the Kingdom of Heaven to be with our Lord on Thursday, August 28, 2014.
She was born February 23, 1929, the youngest daughter of Enos and Zita (Weinrich) Bachman.
Survivors include her husband, one son, Larry Ross, one daughter, Karen (David) Rudert, two granddaughters, Stephanie Ross and Kelli Rudert, and one grandson, Geoffrey Rudert.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. Chloe was an avid gardener, one who took great joy in the cultivation and propagation of fresh vegetables and lovely flowers. Each growing season, she delighted family and friends with bountiful gifts of produce and fragrant blossoms from her garden.
Chloe was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Lorene and Lavella.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 5 at Young & Sons Funeral Home from 10:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm with Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society, the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation or to Southeast Hospice.
