PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Hilden Harry Ross, 90, of Perryville died Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Matthew Marks officiating. Burial will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, with military graveside rites provided by the VFW and Delta Team.

A funeral will be held Friday, April 24, 2015 for 90-year-old Hilden Harry Ross of Perryville who died April 19, 2015 at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 9, 1925, in Yount, the son of Elmer and Thelma (Keelin) Ross who both preceded him in death.

He married Chloe Bachman October 19, 1946. She preceded him in death on August 28 2014.

He is survived by a daughter: Karen (David) Rudert of Perryville; a son: Larry Ross of Perryville; three grandchildren: Stephanie Ross, Geoffrey Rudert and Kelli Rudert.

He was also preceded in death by a sister: Verna Agueda and two brothers: Donald and Delmar Welker.

Hilden worked as a miner for Mississippi Lime in Ste. Genevieve and Hanna Mining Company in Ironton.

He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and member of the VFW Post 4282.

He was a loving, devoted husband and father who especially took great joy and pride in his grandchildren. He was a beloved friend of many.

Visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 90-year-old Hilden Harry Ross of Perryville will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. The Rev. Matthew Marks will officiate.

Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery with military graveside service provided by the V.F. W. and Delta Team.

Memorials may be made to the Parkinson Disease Foundation or to the Missouri Veteran Home in Cape Girardeau.

The Young & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Perryville provided the arrangements.
