Sachse, Grover Gene
Grover Gene Sachse, 71, of Oak Ridge died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born Jan. 26, 1932, in Oak Ridge, son of Roy McKinley and Mayme Estelle Penny Sachse. He and Edith Scholz were married Aug. 7, 1955.
Sachse raised livestock in the Oak Ridge area and was a member of New Salem United Methodist Church at Daisy, Mo.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gene Sachse of Oak Ridge, Tom Sachse of Friedheim; a daughter, Donna Vernon of Perryville, Mo.; four grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Cox officiating. Burial will be in New Salem United Methodist Cemetery at Daisy.
