Schalk, Eva (nee Braddy)
EVA SCHALK MUSCATINE, Iowa - Eva Schalk, 90, of Muscatine, died Sunday, November 23, 2008, at Good Samaritan Center in Davenport. Graveside service will be 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home.
Eva was born on April 19, 1918, in Ellington, Missouri, the daughter of Tony and Bertha Ross Braddey. She was married to Joseph Schalk and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Joseph Schalk and wife, Dorothy, of Fredericktown, Missouri; one daughter, Joan Petty, of Ironton, Missouri; two grandchildren; three great-granddaughters; and three great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Larry David Schalk; three brothers and two sisters.
