Schindler, Marie (nee Elder)
A funeral will be held Wednesday, January 31st, 2001 for 80-year-old Marie E. Schindler of Perryville who died today, Monday, January 29th, at Perry Oaks Manor in Perryville.
She was born April 19, 1920 in Perryville, the daughter of Joseph P. and Clara (Balsman) Elder who both preceded in death.
She married Edgar C. Schindler on June 19th, 1946. He preceded in death.
Relatives and many friends will sadly miss her.
One brother also preceded her in death.
She was a retired bookkeeper from Rozier Mercantile Co. in Perryville and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Ladies Sodality and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary, all in Perryville.
Visitation will be from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 31st at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 80-year-old Marie E. Schindler of Perryville will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 31st at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Kevin Fausz, CM will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Church or to the St. Vincent de Paul Educational Foundation.
The Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
