A funeral will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 for 82-year-old Rose Marie Schmidt of Perryville who died May 10, 2015, at Independence Care Center of Perry County in Perryville.
She was born August 23, 1932 in Granite City, Illinois, the daughter of Martin and Toleta (Brown) Schmidt who both preceded her in death.
She is survived by nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Franklin and Alfred; and a sister, Dorothy Traut.
Rose Marie was a member of St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.
Friends may call 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, May 13 at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.
A funeral for 82-year-old Rose Marie Schmidt of Perryville will be held at the Young and Sons Chapel at noon Wednesday. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate.
Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery,
Memorials are preferred to St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or the American Diabetes Association.
