Schnurbusch, Arthur L.
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Arthur L. Schnurbusch, 70, of Perryville died Friday, April 11, 2003, at Perry County Nursing Home.
He was born July 1, 1932, at Apple Creek, Mo., son of Hugo and Louisa Wichern Schnurbusch. He and Kathryn Tarrillion were married June 20, 1975.
Schnurbusch was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean conflict. He was a laborer working in masonry throughout the area for many years. Schnurbusch was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and a member of the VFW Post 4282 in Perryville.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Scott Schnurbusch of Perryville and Steve Schnurbusch of Kirksville, Mo.; and four sisters, Alice Schott and Viola Ilrin, both of St. Louis, Trula Baer and Irma Meyer, both of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and an infant son.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday at Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. today. VFW service will be at 7:30 pm. today. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Monday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Apple Creek, with the Rev. Mark Bozada officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery in Apple Creek. Graveside military honors will be by American Legion Post 133.
