Schnurbusch, Edward C.
PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Edward C. "Junior" Schnurbusch, 79, of Perryville died Monday, March 23, 2009, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Dec. 17, 1929, at Apple Creek, Mo., son of Henry Edward and Clotilda Leible Schnurbusch. He and Josephine A. Berkbigler were married Nov. 29, 1969, in Perryville.
Schnurbusch retired as a mechanic from Perryville Oliver. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
He served in the National Guard.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael (Kara) Schnurbusch of Jackson, Paul (Bonnie) Schnurbusch of Perryville; a brother, Cletus Schnurbusch of Perryville; a sister, Sara Marie Schnurbusch of St. Louis; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. Thursday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be at 6:30 Wednesday. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Thursday.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, with graveside services courtesy of American Legion Post 133.
