A funeral will be held Monday, January 22nd, 2001 for 77-year-old Howard L. Schnurbusch who died Friday, January 19th at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born August 13th, 1923 in Perry County, the son of William L. Schnurbusch and Theresa Gebhardt Schnurbusch who both preceded in death.

He married Alice A. Biri on August 23rd, 1944 in Perryville. She survives in Perryville.

Three sons also survive him: Dennis Schnurbusch of Nashville, Tennessee; Lynn Joseph Schnurbusch of Perryville and Kenneth Ray Schnurbusch of O'Fallon.

One sister survives: Marie Gibbar of Perryville.

Two brothers survive: Homer Schnurbusch of Cape Girardeau and Ralph Schnurbusch of Farmington.

Eleven grandchildren, two step grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive him.

A brother and a daughter also preceded him in death.

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II had had been a heavy equipment operator.

He was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Sunday and 6:30-9:50 a.m. Monday at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish wake Sunday at 7 p.m., American Legion service Sunday at 7:30 p.m., Rosary at 9 a.m. Monday, all at the funeral home.

A funeral for 77-year-old Howard L. Schnurbusch of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 22nd, at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The rev. Kevin Fausz, C.M. will officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or Southeast Hospice.
