Schremp, Lonnie J.
Lonnie J. Schremp, 91, of Perryville died Saturday, Oct. 9, 2004, at the Perry County Nursing Home.
He was born Feb. 10, 1913, in Perry County, son of Isedore and Eulia Milfelt Schremp. He and Claris Buatte were married. She preceded him in death. He and Retta Moran-Munier were married April 25, 1987, at Perryville.
Schremp had been a foreman at International Shoe Company and he owned and operated the Westside Tavern for 20 years at Perryville. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Parish at Sereno, Mo., a charter member of the Perryville Elks Lodge 2701, a third degree Knight of Columbus and an American Legion Booster.
Survivors include his wife and a sister, Evelyn Christisen Schubert of Perryville.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Miller Family Funeral Home, with parish prayers at 7 p.m and an Elks service at 7:15 p.m. Visitation will continue from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, with the Rosary recited at 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church at Sereno, with the Rev. Francis Agnew officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
