PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Matthew J. Schremp, 27, of Perryville died Sunday, July 7, 2013, at his home. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery with military graveside honors...

A funeral will be held Thursday, July 11, 2013 for 27-year-old Matthew J. Schremp of Perryville who died July 7, 2013 at his residence.
He was born September 27, 1985 in Cape Girardeau, the son of Rick and Donna (Franklin) Schremp who survive in Perryville.
Other survivors include a sister: Hannah Schremp of Paragould, Arkansas; a brother: Benjamin Schremp; and a paternal grandmother: Velda Schremp both of Perryville.
He was loved by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Carl and Elda Franklin and paternal grandfather: Glennon Schremp.
Matthew was retired from US Marine Corps.
He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 11 at the Young & Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 27-year-old Matthew J. Schremp of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 11 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery with military graveside honors.
Memorials are preferred to Wounded Warriors or Semper Fi Fund.
